on July 6, 2025, Auckland bid farewell to days of fierce storms and rain, ushering in a bright, cloudless sky. People flocked to parks, grass fields, and playgrounds to enjoy the warm winter sun and joyful family time. At the picturesque Mt Albert War Memorial Park, people of different nationalities, languages, cultures, and faiths gathered together for the festive opening of a unique and innovative large-scale conversation event.
Mr. Liu Zheng, the founder of Daren, attended the event and delivered the opening speech. Using simple yet vivid language, Mr. Liu explained the substantial essence of the event: “This is a large-scale conversation, but as you can see, we have not only conversations but also each and every one of you—respectable, lovely people, as well as this beautiful, picturesque setting. The people, our affairs, and everything around us, which we collectively call them as the Rentang (the Hall of Great Benevolence) of the People. The Rentang of the People is what will ultimately achieve The Human World of The People. Conversation is the core form of the Rentang of the People—it is an essential way for us to connect with each other.”
People and the surrounding environment harmoniously coexist; people resonate with each other—which was once described as “the unity of heaven and humanity.” But it goes far beyond that. Humans are the most spiritual and the most precious beings of all. These shared commonalities are universal across all people and are exactly what the Rentang of the People encompasses. The Daren Conversation is the core form presented to society by the Rentang of the People, and the emergence of such a large-scale conversation is truly unprecedented. Through pure Daren Conversation, people will gradually come to understand why humans are spiritual, why humans are precious, and ultimately come to recognize the supreme dignity and preciousness of human nature. This is what Daren has long been striving to break through and will continue to reveal and fulfill for people.
The event was divided into eight zones, covering major themes such as Daren culture, arts, practical life knowledge, lifestyle and leisure, hot societal affairs, and faiths, with nearly 30 specific topics. Whatever is needed for people and social life could be openly discussed. Although this is everyone’s first encounter with Daren Conversation, within the natural, humane, and relaxed atmosphere, participants easily set aside social labels and formal arrangements, engaging freely in a state driven by their true nature and individuality. Everyone could switch tables at any time, creating an enthusiastic, lively atmosphere—a vivid microcosm of real society. This purely human-centered conversation transcended skin color, ethnicity, social status, educational background, and cultural differences, blending naturally and thriving on the platform created by Daren. Together, participants presented a fresh, future-oriented vision of The Human World of The People.
In the second half of the event, conversation sharing and an award ceremony took place. Daren volunteers and supporters took to the stage. Though their professions and interests varied, they shared a common message: Daren Conversation brings people together, and they hope Daren will continue to help highlight the nobility and liveliness of human nature. This is the unique charm and mighty power of the “Daren Humanity Platform”: honoring the supreme human nature, using conversation as its form, and on the foundation of our shared humanity and potential, allowing each person’s spirituality and preciousness to shine.
This was the Society’s first grand Daren Conversation open to the public, establishing the core position of Daren Conversation. “Traversing through heavens and earths, this is the beauty of becoming fully human.” The natural interactions between people are beginning to present thriving vitality. In his address, Mr. Liu Zheng also remarked: “These are just the warm-ups. The great gift we are preparing for all of you and for society is still on its way.” Please stay tuned.
